There is NO legal representation in the Support Part of the Staten Island Family Court unless it is a contempt hearing, then and ONLY then, is an 18B Law Panel Attorney assigned.
There should be legal representation from the inception to the finality of civil support matters.
Inconsistent Rulings lead to gross inequities on both sides of the matter.

Especially in Staten Island.. there needs to be an UNBIASED attorney on the case as soon as possible.. In my case there was a 10k "mistake" which was then added to arrears with interest going back over a year.. while the other parent OWED ME child support- way ta go richmond county!
